Elvis Wedding Chapels in Vegas
GRACELAND
Graceland Chapel was first built in a family home in 1927. Years passed and in 1947 the entire house was transformed into a cozy chapel that was called Gretna Green Wedding Chapel.
It became famous in 1967, due to the unexpected visit of none other than the King of Rock, Elvis Presley, who inspected the chapel in the hope that he could fulfill his dream of marrying his future wife Priscilla. Unfortunately, it could not be realized due to the number of guests on the guest list. However, it served to change the name of the chapel, which from 1977 onwards was called Graceland (the name of the King of Rock's mansion) in honor of the death of the singer Elvis Presley.
From then on, all weddings were celebrated with an Elvis look-alike in attendance. Today, the Graceland Wedding Chapel has hosted over 250,000 weddings and is the most famous and sought after by tourists and future couples who want to record the moment by taking photos at the location, as it is known as Elvis' famous chapel.
